”Twin Dragons” page holder; We created it by adapting it from the knockers at the main gate of Cizre Ulu Mosque, which is a beautiful example of Anatolian Turkish-Islamic architecture. The dragons have their backs to each other, leaning their hands on each other, their body parts are knotted, and the ends of their dry parts are intertwined. These tail parts are completed with pointed ears and beaks, round eyes, and an eagle head. A stylized lion head is used in the middle part. The dragon motif is found in many cultures.

In Chinese mythology, he is known as Lung, in Arabs as Tanin, in Iranians as Dragon, and in Turkish mythology as Evreğen. It is seen that the dragon symbol scares away evil spirits, while the lion symbol has a protective meaning. These two elements are Anatolian Seljuk It has been widely used as an exterior element in architecture.

The eagle on the dragon's skull is given as a symbol of power and dominance. It is thought that this design is included in the Kitab-ül Hiyel and was designed by the Turkish-Islamic Scholar Al Cezeri.

*The original drawing of this design is on the box envelope.
